Thank you for considering Gravity Real Estate as your potential brokerage.

When I first realized I excelled in sales in 2004, I decided I wanted to sell the biggest thing I could - houses. I was intrigued by the opportunity to help people with their most precious and valuable asset. A commission-only job seemed intimidating, but I understood the harder I worked, the more money I could make. After I finished my job at the Miami Heat, I walked over to Miami-Dade College, took night classes, passed the state exam, and then said to myself, “Now what?”.

I knew there were 43,560 square feet in one acre, but nobody taught me how to find a client. What I quickly recognized is that you either need to know a lot of people or constantly be meeting new people. You need to “plant the seed” now for it to grow into future success later.

Since nobody else was doing it, it was my goal to help students, parents, employees, and property owners buy, sell, and rent homes around the University of Miami. I used my experience from attending the University and combined it with my sales and marketing background to create College Town Living. The company has become the most recognizable provider of rental services for college students in the Coral Gables area.

Even though I was having early success with my first niche business, I did not want to focus solely on rentals. I developed 305 Homes as a luxury brand to capitalize off the “305” area code, which is synonymous with Miami. I worked several years as a solo agent, but I eventually recruited JC Vina and Ashlee Hernandez to help with my overflow business while mentoring their young careers.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I contemplated starting my own company. Around the same time, I received an email from a Side recruiter who advised me they could form a brokerage for me but indicated that I would be the owner. Gravity Real Estate was born in October 2021. 

Gravity’s motto of being “Down to Earth Agents” is the perfect indication of our team culture. Our team is a group of hard-working, practical, and family-oriented people. We work to live, not live to work. If you want to go on vacation, someone you can trust will cover for you. Each agent is treated as a person and not as a number like at a large conglomerate brokerage. Between Gravity Real Estate and Side, our back-end partner, each agent receives real support with marketing, lead generation, transactions, and database management.

On a personal level, you would not be working FOR me. You would be working WITH me. Everyone collaborates. If you need to reach me, you contact me. I do not have an Assistant or Secretary. I do, however, have a family with young children and that is who I work FOR every day. I do not miss important family events and encourage you not to either. Life is too short.
